“DP世界巡回赛是一个全球性的世界级巡回赛。我们在世界各国举办赛事，与全球众多机构都有深厚的联系。”金宁楷说，“我们与中国的关系对巡回赛而言是相当重要的。我们在中国举办了许多赛事，且今年年初与中国高尔夫球协会达成战略联盟。我们与沃尔沃中国公开赛的合作远可以追溯到2004年。巡回赛的明星球手、莱德杯球员来此与多达47名中国选手同台竞技是非常重要的。我们的目标是在全球范围推动高尔夫运动发展，与沃尔沃、中国高尔夫球协会这样的合作伙伴一起，激发世界各地球迷的兴趣。”

赛制方面，正赛首轮为19局10胜制，分为2个阶段进行；第二轮和1/4决赛为25局13胜制，分为3个阶段进行；半决赛为33局17胜制，分为4个阶段进行；决赛为35局18胜制，分为4个阶段进行。

“很高兴回到中国来比赛。现在我的高尔夫感觉很棒，击球很扎实，过去两个星期我最后阶段打得都很好，经受住考验，”李昊桐说，“我十分期待这个星期，希望我能有一些精彩的表现。最近我的自信心增强不少，特别是开球上，我已经不再挣扎。我还有一些技术问题在处理，可是我打得更好了。回国比赛，这一周肯定会很棒。”

本届汤尤杯，国羽各派出男、女运动员各10人参赛。汤姆斯杯中，国羽男团与澳大利亚、韩国和加拿大同分在A组；尤伯杯中，国羽女团与印度、加拿大和新加坡同分在A组。在小组赛前四日比赛中，国羽男、女团都是豪取三连胜，取得小组第一。
